Stir-fry turkey and vegetables

The technique of frying food in a very small amount of hot oil while stirring is specific to Chinese cuisine and wok dishes. Try out this ground turkey and vegetable stir-fry, which goes perfectly with Asian noodles or rice.

  1. Then add bite-sized cubes of zucchini, broccoli florets, stir and cover the pan so that the broccoli is steamed. Cook about 3 minutes until broccoli is softened.

  2. Add soy sauce, vegetable paste, crushed garlic, and stir until well combined.

  3. Season with salt and ground black pepper.

  4. Add turkey, peppers cut into cubes, and sliced carrots, and fry about 7 minutes, until turkey is golden and vegetables are still crispy. Break up turkey as you stir to ensure it is evenly cooked.

  5. Heat oil in a large pan or wok, and add finely chopped onion. Fry over high heat about 4 minutes, until onion is softened.

Advice

If you prefer that the broccoli is tender, you can briefly boil it before adding to the wok.
