Great tip: Choose the ingredients you already have and find out which ones you're missing. Let that help you decide what to cook.
Preparation
-
Return meat to the pan, sprinkle with Vegeta, black pepper and add in a little water. Cover and cook slowly over low heat, about 1 hour, turning meat occasionally until tender.
-
Remove meat from the pan, and add chopped vegetables to the hot oil, and fry briefly.
-
Halfway through cooking, add tomato puree, wine, jam, and salt to taste.
-
During that time, grate or finely chop vegetables (carrots, celery, onions).
-
Heat the olive oil in a wide, deep pan. Dip one side of beef cutlets into floor and add to hot oil. Fry on one side, then the other.
Advice
If desired, you can add about 30 ml sherry to the pašticada.
Super tip: Choose ingredients that you already have and see which are missing. Let this be your guide in deciding what to cook.
