Blend well with hand-held mixer (or in electric chopper) until smooth.

Add olive oil as needed to make the spread creamy.

Drain chickpeas, rinse and place into a bowl. Add crushed garlic, freshly squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, black pepper, salt to taste, and tahini paste.

You can use crushed toasted sesame seeds instead of tahini paste.
