Great tip: Choose the ingredients you already have and find out which ones you're missing. Let that help you decide what to cook.

Preparation

  1. Season the Pork: Rub the pork leg with Vegeta powder, then sprinkle with additional (optional: add salt & black pepper to taste)

  2. Bake the Pork: Place the onion (cut into large pieces) in a casserole dish. Pour in red wine and 50 ml of water, then place the pork on top. Cover tightly and bake in a preheated oven at 150 °C for 8 hours.

  3. Shred the Pork: Remove the pork from the oven. Using two forks, shred it into small, fibrous pieces.

  4. Prepare the Vegetable Salad: Cut the celery root into thin noodles and combine with the young cabbage, red cabbage, and chopped chili (if using).

  5. Assemble the Burgers: Place a generous portion of pulled pork on the bottom half of each bun. Add 2 thin slices of tomato, cucumber slices, and a generous layer of the vegetable salad. Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.

Advice
